8.B. - Page 13 <br /> SECTION 1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PURPOSE <br /> This Initial Study (IS) of environmental impacts has been prepared to conform to the requirements of <br /> the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the CEQA Guidelines (California Code of <br /> Regulations 15000 et. seq.), and the regulations and policies of the City of Redwood City. This IS <br /> evaluates the potential environmental impacts which might reasonably be anticipated to result from <br /> implementation of the proposed residential project at 1410 Valota Road. <br /> Redwood City is the Lead Agency under CEQA and has prepared this IS to address the impacts of <br /> implementing the proposed project. <br /> All documents referenced in this IS are available for public review at Redwood City Hall, 1017 <br /> Middlefield Road, during normal business hours. <br /> 1410 Valota Road Residential Project 1 Initial Study <br /> Redwood City January 2012 <br />
