Approve funding to Opportunities Industrialization Center West (OICW) and Youth <br /> and Family Assistance (YFA) <br /> REPORT: OICW /YF A Restaurant Training Facility, October 30, 1995 <br /> Housing Coordinator Jones-Thomas presented the staff report. <br /> Joe Steinfeld, Council candidate, 850 Main Street, Redwood City, stated that he had <br /> spoken with other business owners on his block, many of whom are upset over this <br /> proposal. They have invested their own money in their businesses, and customers will <br /> go to a competitor using City funding. Mr. Steinfeld stated that the business proposed <br /> will draw from existing businesses, and he believes this is an attack on small business. <br /> TITLE READ.
