I . ' -
3. GENERAL
A. CONCURRENT CO UN CIL/RED EVELO PMENT AGENCY MEETING
- CONTINUED FROM JUNE 8, 1998 on the Proposed Fourth Amendment to the
Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project No. 2; on the Proposed
Implementation Plan Amendment for Redevelopment Project No.2
The complete text of the proposed amendment is on file in the City Clerk Department.
City Manager Everett reviewed the Staff Report and said this item was being delayed as
the City/Agency's consultants and attorney had received more written comments than
expected and they needed time to respond to all of them and make sure that all the
information was accurate. He said that process would take several more weeks. City
Manager Everett said the consultants and staff wanted to spend time with the affected
property owners, which will also take several more weeks. City Manager Everett said, "In
the process of moving it back several weeks we fall into a different fiscal year. There is a
procedural process to set the new basis. Once we have to do that, we have to wait on the
Assessor's schedule. The quickest he could give us that information is probably near the
middle to the end of August, so we have tentatively set the new meeting time for
September 28, 1998." City Manager Everett advised that everyone who spoke or
submitted written comments had been notified and would be kept informed as the process
proceeds.
MIS: CLAIRE/RUSKIN CONTINUE THE CONCURRENT COUNCILIREDEVELOPMENT
- AGENCY MEETING TO 7:35 P.M., MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 28,1998 IN THE CITY HALL
COUNCIL CHAMBER, 1017 NnDDLEFIELD ROAD, REDWOOD CITY.
CARRIED BY UNANIMOUS VOICE VOTE WITH COUNCIL MEMBERSIDIRECTORS
HARTNETT AND IRA ABSTAINING FROM THE VOTE
MINUTE ORDER 98-154
MINUTE ORDER 20-98RD
Council Memberillirector Ira spoke for the record and said he had abstained and would
abstain from any discussion or decisions regarding the proposed Fourth Amendment to the
Redevelopment Project No.2 due to the number of clients he had in the Redevelopment
Area and the obvious conflict of interest that would arise.
MEMO 6/23/98
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4 CLOSED SESSION
None scheduled.
- MINUTES FOR THE JOINT PUBLIC HEARING MINUTE BOOK NO.
