A7TACHMENT 1 <br /> WHEREAS, the City has agreed to incorporate in the Project all applicable <br /> mitigation measures identified in the ISIMND and the associated MMRP to reduce <br /> environmental impacts to less than significant levels; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has re�iewed the Project's pians and all <br /> en�ironmental documents and supporting studies and reports necessary for <br /> recorrlmending adoption of the ISIMND and recommending approval of the Project <br /> design; and has considered the foregoing at a duly noticed public hearing on October 15, <br /> 2Q13; and <br /> WHEREAS, by this resolution, the City, as the fead agency under CEQA, desires <br /> to comply with t�e requirements of CEQA, the CEQA Guidelines, the applicable <br /> pra�isions of the California Government Code, and the applicable pro�isions of the City's <br /> Zoning Ordinance and Municipal Code, in connection witf� the appro�al and subsequent <br /> impfementatian of the Project. <br /> NQW THEREFORE, BE !T RESOLVED BY THE PLANNiNG COMMISSIQN <br /> OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLL4WS: <br /> A. The IS/MND {attached hereto as Exhibit A) and the assaciated MMRP <br /> (attached hereto as Exhibit B)are hereby recommended for adoption by the City Council <br /> based on the foElowing findings: <br /> 1. The abo�e recitals are true and correct and together with the Staff <br /> Report and the application materials, including without limitation the ISIMND and all other <br /> documents, reports, studies, memoranda, maps,oral and written testimany,and materials <br /> in the City's file for the application and #he Project, ar�d all adopted City planning <br /> documents relating to the U.S. Highway 101 Pedestrian Undercrossing and Bair Island <br /> Road Storm DraiR Pump Station Project and the prope�ty including the City's Generaf <br /> Plan, Zoning Ordinance, and other applicable City laws and regulatiar�s and associated <br /> appro�ed and certified en�ironmentaf documents, have together served as an adequate <br /> and appropriate evidentiary basis for the findings and actions set forth in this Resolution. <br /> 2. The City of Redwood City is the lead agency under the California <br /> En�ironmental Quality Act (CEQA) for prepari�g the ISIMND, and the City Council is the <br /> entity with final decision-making authority with regard to approval af the U.S. Highway <br /> 101 Pedestrian Undercrossing and Bair Island Road Storm Drain Pump Station Project. <br /> 3.
