P- 22�4 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GRANT FROM THE U.S. <br /> DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY UNDER THE PORT'S <br /> FY 2013 PORT SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF DOCUMENTS <br /> WHEREAS, on or about June 21, 2013, the Port of Redwood City (the <br /> "Port") applied for a grant with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security under <br /> the Port's FY 2013 Port Security Grant Program (the "Grant°); and <br /> WHEREAS, the approved cost for the Maritime Domain Awareness and <br /> Port Resilience and Recovery Capabilities Project (the "ProjecY') by the U.S. <br /> Department of Homeland Security is $166,666.00; and <br /> WHEREAS, Port's application (the "Application") for the Grant has been <br /> approved by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (the °Approval") in the <br /> sum of$125,000.00; and <br /> WHEREAS, Port's portion of the cost of the Project is $41,666_00; and <br /> WHEREAS, Port has reviewed the Approval documents received from the <br /> U.S. Department of Homeland Security. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The City of Redwood City, acting by and through its Board of Port <br /> Commissioners, accepts the Grant in the amount of $125,000.00 from the U.S. <br /> Department of Homeland Security and the Port Executive Director (Port <br /> Reso 119 � <br /> Port/Reso <br /> FXS <br /> 10/02/13 <br />
