City's purpose of vacating this portion of the right- <br /> of-way is to enhance the use of this area to its highest and best use, and accommodate new multi-family <br /> development at 601 Main Street. This vacation proceeding is conducted under Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 3, <br /> commencing at Section 8300 et sea•of the Califomia Streets and Highways Code. <br /> BACKGROUND AND OTHER INFORMATION: <br /> A resolution of intent to vacate a portion of the Bradford Street right-of-way, containing the conditions required to <br /> be satisfied prior to such vacation taking effect,is on file for public inspection and capying for the cost of duplication <br /> at the office of the City Engineer,City Halt, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, between the hours of 8:00 am <br /> and 5 pm, Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays. <br /> All testimony must either be given in person at the time of the public hearing or received in writing by the City <br /> Engineer prior to the date of the public hearing. Testimony cannot be given over the telephone. If you challenge <br /> any of the faregoing described actions in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone <br /> else raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence defivered to the City Council <br /> at, or prior to, said public hearing.
