6.A. - Page 21 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13-26 <br /> A RE50LUTION OF THE PL.ANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RECOMMENDING THAT THE CITY <br /> COUNCIL DESIGNATE 1052 EDGEWOOD ROAD A HISTORIC <br /> LANDMARK AND APPROVE A HISTOR[C PRESERVATION <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> WHEREAS, on April 11, 2013 the Historic Resaurces Advisory Committee <br /> considered and recommended that the residence and property lacated at 1052 <br /> Edgewood Road, Redwood City, Califarnia b� designated a Historic Landmark; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, on November 14, 2013 the Historic Resources Advisary <br /> Committee has consic�ered and recommertded that a Historic Property <br /> Preser►ration Agreement (also known as a Milfs Act Contract) with Greg and Lucy <br /> Ballard (collecti�efy, Applicant) be approved for 1052 Edgewood RaacE; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Historic Resources Advisory Cammittee has determined <br /> that said praperty meets the criteria for designation as ar� historic landmark <br /> accarding to the historic designation criteria establish�d by the Redwood City <br /> Historic Preservation Ordinance {Chapter�0 af the Redwood City Code); and <br /> WHEREAS, on December 3, 2013 the Planning Cammission held a duly <br /> noticed public hearing and considered public comments, the application and <br /> repor# from the appficant and owner of the subject property, tf�e recommendation <br /> of the Historic Resources Advisory Cammittee, and staff reports; and <br /> WHEREAS, the residence and property located at 1 D52 Edgewaod Road, <br /> Redwood City, California does meet the histaric designation criteria established <br /> by the Redwood City HEStoric Preservation Orclinance as foflows: <br /> A. It exemplifies ar�d reflects special elements ot the City's cultural, <br /> aesthetfc and architectural history; and <br /> B.
