Include design, materials,condition,alterations,size,setting,and boundaries) The single-family residence has a two and one-half story main block with a one and one-half story side wing in the early twentieth century Tudor Revival style of architecture.The recessed main entry is accessed by stone steps.The pointed arch front door is wood plank with iron hardware.There are exposed eaves with rafter tails on the side gables and exposed beams under the vented front gable end.There is a two-story addition on the north side that echos the scale,proportions and style of the origina11931 building.The over-all massing and composition is an assemblage of boxes generally in a L or J-form with intersecting gable roofs of asphalt shingles.The wood frame building is sheathed in stucco with painted wood,half-timbering.There are wood frame casement windows on the original section and wood frame sash windows on the addition. There is a two car garage on the southwest side of the property and a guesthouse with attached two car garage on the northeast corner of the property.There is also a small pool house at the northwest corner of the property.A wine bottle-shaped inground pool is on the western,creek side of the property.The property is landscaped with mature planting and trees,and is fenced along the perimeter.Historically,the property is parcel number 90 of the Wellsley Park subdivision laid out in 1889.The neighborhood is developed with residences of the 1920s and 1930s(on parcels along the creek)with smaller scale residencecs from the 1950s. *P3b.
