RE L O O. -2222 <br /> (Carbon Black Pilot Project) <br /> RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING CONSIDERATION PURSUANT TO THE <br /> CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT OF THE PROPOSED <br /> MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION AND INITIAL STUDY FOR THE <br /> CARBON BLACK PILOT PROJECT LOCATED AT THE PORT OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, IN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO; <br /> MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS PERTAINING TO A CERTAIN PROJECT IN <br /> CONNECTION THEREWITH; ADOPTING THE MITIGATED NEGATIVE <br /> DECLARATION TO ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS FOR SAID PROJECT AND <br /> THE MITIGATION MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM RELATED <br /> THERETO; AND AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A NOTICE OF <br /> DETERMINATION AND THE PAYMENT OF EXPENDITURES, FEES AND <br /> COSTS RELATED THERETO - PUBLIC HEARING <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the California Environmental <br /> Quality Act ("CEQA"; Pub. Resources Code §21000, et seq. and 14 Cal. Regs. <br /> 15000 et seq.), the City of Redwood City, by and through its Board of Port <br /> Commissioners (the "Port"), undertook the preparation of an Initial Study and <br /> prepared a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Carbon Black Pilot Project (the <br /> "Project"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed project will be located at the Port of Redwood <br /> City, on parcel bounded by Hinman Road to the north, Herkner Road to the west, <br /> Sims Metal to the south, and the Port's Maintenance Warehouse to the east <br /> Redwood City, CA 94063 (the "Site"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the Port is the lead agency for the CEQA decision for the <br /> Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Port has conducted an Initial Study to examine potential <br /> impacts of the Project; and <br /> - 1 - <br /> Reso 206 <br /> Carbon Black <br /> 11/14/13 a <br /> �e <br />
