EXHIBIT"A" SCOPE OF SERVICES Itemized List of what Consultant will do for City and at what price and schedule. Through its own services or the Mechanical Engineering subcontractor EXP, NBBJ will provide 1. TASK 1: Additional Mechanical engineering and design services in support of: Design and specification of City Attomey office zone supply air acoustical attenuators in accordance with Charles Salter report dated October 29, 2013. Design shall include 3- foot long duct sound attenuators downstream of the VAV boxes to meet NC 35 at the design airflow rates. The attenuators (e.g., from VibraAcoustics or equal) should be selected to meet acoustical ratings listed in Tables 2 and 3, below. Pressure drop across the attenuators should also be limited to a maximum of 0.1 inches W.G. TASK 2: Prepare a bulletin directing The opposed-blade dampers be removed from the diffusers. TASK 3: Additional services, as requested by Citys Community Development Director, to be defined in writing, FEE Tasks 1 and 2 shall be performed on a Fixed Fee Basis for a total of Three Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty dollars ($3,720), inclusive of all reimbursable expenses. Task 3 shall be an optional task in an amount not to exceed $1,280; the actual fee shall be developed by the City's Community Development Director at the time the task is further defined in writing.
