Council Member Hartnett referred to the Council's discussion at the last Council <br /> meeting regarding renovation and expansion of playing fields, and reported that he had <br /> received a communication from San Mateo Supervisor Rich Gordon on behalf of the <br /> County Committee including Supervisors Barrales and Gordon, along with County <br /> Manager Maltbie. He said the communication indicated "they are now indeed interested in <br /> making a contribution as part of an overall program of renovation and expansion of <br />- fields."
