Mr. Healy also described Electronic Arts wholehearted support <br /> - of a Traffic District and the letter that EA's President wrote to the Redwood Shores <br /> Homeowners Association advising that EA had already set funds aside for active <br /> participation in that effort; <br /> Carol Ford, spoke on behalf of the San Carlos Airport Pilots Association and the <br /> Redwood Shores Homeowners Association. Mrs. Ford also thanked EA's Mr. Healy <br /> and Jackie Speier for working with the Pilots Association; <br /> Scott Mace, representing the Mid-Peninsula Bicycle Coalition, described proposed <br /> legislation providing millions of dollars for alternative transportation means, and asked <br /> the City and the proposed Traffic District to consider applying for those funds to <br /> include safe ways for bicycles to cross Highway 101 at the Electronic Arts area and <br /> others. <br /> In response to Mayor Howard's comments, City Manager Everett said there were <br /> major problems with vehicular access and millions were being spent for traffic <br /> improvements.
