Shopping Carts-Ira. <br /> Council Member Ira requested this subject be placed on a future agenda. <br /> - <br /> City Manager Everett stated that Parks, Recreation and Community Services <br /> Director, Peter Griffiths has done a study on this and an ordinance has been drafted. <br /> He will schedule a study session as soon as possible; hopefully, September. He would <br /> like Council to set up a task force to address the fields at Cañada College; he would <br /> like the City to spend its $1 million on fields. <br /> Mayor Howard stated that there is a school/city task force. <br /> Vice-Mayor Ruskin stated there is interest in the Cañada fields and the college has <br /> been approached. An efficient way to deal with this needs to be considered. <br /> Council Member Ira attended the League of California leadership classes and found <br /> them useful. He encouraged others to attend. <br /> He was frustrated regarding who to call with complaints about street lighting on <br /> Woodside Road. Three calls to City Hall were not answered. Also, he requested that <br /> care be given not to send more than one copy of material.
