allowed under Alternative B of the Revised Final EIR. Alternative B proposes a slope <br /> density formula which reduces the maximum floor area of development allowed on <br /> each lot based upon the average slope of the lot, subject to at least 2,000 square feet <br /> of maximum floor area (including garage) on each lot. In its action on the Project, the <br /> Planning Commission had approved a modified version of Alternative B which <br /> essentially would have allowed at least 2,400 square feet of maximum floor area <br /> (including garage) on each lot. In consideration of the concerns raised by the First <br /> Appellant relating to the overall density of the Project, and as a partial grant of the <br /> appeal filed by the First Appellant, the Council finds that home sizes in the Project area <br /> should be limited to those set forth in Alternative B.
