7.1.G. - Page 5 <br /> NOW THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> 1. Section 1.7 of the Agreement is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 1.7. Authority `Authority' means Silicon Valley Clean Water created <br /> pursuant to this Agreement initially under the name of South Bayside System Authority <br /> and subsequently renamed. The name `Silicon Valley Clean Water' shall be deemed <br /> substituted for `South Bayside System Authority' wherever the latter appears in this <br /> Agreement, including, without limitation, the Exhibits." <br /> 2. Section 2.2 of the Agreement is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 2.2. Creation of Authority Pursuant to the Act there is hereby created a <br /> public entity to be known as `Silicon Valley Clean Water,' herein called the `Authority.' <br /> The Authority is a public entity separate and apart from Belmont, Redwood City, San <br /> Carlos, and West Bay, and shall administer this Agreement." <br /> 3. Section 2.4 of the Agreement is hereby amended to read as follows <br /> "Section 2.4. Commission. The Authority shall be administered by a Commission <br /> of four (4) members. One (1) member shall be a Council member of Belmont appointed <br /> by the City Council of Belmont; one (1) member shall be a Council member of Redwood <br /> City appointed by the Council of Redwood City; one (1) member shall be a Council <br /> member of San Carlos appointed by the City Council of San Carlos; and one (1) <br /> member shall be a member of the Board of Directors of West Bay appointed by the <br /> Board of Directors of West Bay. The Commission shall be called the `Commission of <br /> Silicon Valley Clean Water.' All voting power of the Authority shall reside in the <br /> Commission. <br /> Each member of the Commission shall serve at the pleasure of the Agency that <br /> appointed him or her. Each member shall cease to be a member of the Commission <br /> when he or she ceases to hold office on the governing board of the Agency that <br /> appointed him or her. Vacancies on the Commission shall be filled by the respective <br /> appointing Agencies. <br /> The members of the Commission may receive compensation as may be <br /> specified by resolution of the Commission for each day's attendance at meetings of the <br /> Commission or for each day's service rendered as a Commission member by request of <br /> ATTY/RESO.2936/SBSA SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT VI <br /> REV: 12-17-13 MLG <br /> Page 3 of 5 <br />
