Council Member Seybert said that he and Vice Mayor Gee attended the annual service in Memory of the Fallen People commemorated at Notre Dame de Namur University. He said he was impressed by the involvement and leadership of Redwood City and they honored the passing of Jamie Mateo, past member of the Redwood City Police Department and Sheriff's Department this year. He noted that Mr. Mateo was a huge part of community with his family, some of whom currently work with the city, and the ceremony in his memory was both touching and well represented.
