Recommendation: <br /> 1. Request, by resolution, Metropolitan Transportation Commission <br /> (MTC) allocation of Transportation Development Act (TDA) Article 3 <br /> Pedestrian/Bicycle project funding for a Safe Routes to School Project in <br /> Redwood City. <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> SUPPORTING THE SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br /> AND SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION FOR MEASURE A PEDESTRIAN AND <br /> BICYCLE PROGRAM FUNDING FOR THE SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL <br /> IMPROVEMENT <br /> 2. Authorize, by resolution, staff to submit a grant application for a Safe <br /> Routes to School Project to the San Mateo County Transportation <br /> Authority's Measure A Pedestrian and Bicycle Program, and <br /> REQUEST TO THE METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION FOR <br /> THE ALLOCATION OF FISCAL YEAR 2013/2014 TRANSPORTATION <br /> DEVELOPMENT ACT ARTICLE 3 PEDESTRIAN/BICYCLE PROJECT FUNDING <br /> 3. Authorize, by motion, the City Manager to execute related grant and <br /> project documents, accept funds, and allocate local funding to supplement <br /> the project budget for the Safe Routes to School Project, if awarded. <br /> B.
