Task 8. Coordinate with Client and Client Representatives. CONSULTANT will coordinate with
client and other contractors regarding project status and needs through telephone cails, emails,
meetings, and written documentation.
The deliverable item is:
1. Attend two meetings with Redwood City staff to discuss progress and any issues related
to the Project.
Task 9. Permit Appiication Fees. The RWQCB and CDFW charge authorization fees. The
RWQCB and CDFW require "base" fees at the time of application. The balance of the fees is
calculated during the review process. The RWQCB bases its fee on the acreage impact to
jurisdictional waters of the state and cubic yards of dredged and/or excavated material. The
CDFW bases its fees on the cost of the project. Where a project involves impacts to multiple
streams, the CDFG typically considers each stream to be a separate project that requires a
separate application and separate fee payment. In addition, fees are greater for LSAAs longer
than S years. CONSULTANT witl coordinate with CDFW in an effort to have Redwood Creek and
the four tributary branches conidered as one stream in order to reduce costs. CONSULTANT
will inform the client the estimated amount of the fees during the preparation of the RWQCB
and CDFW applications for Project authorization.
REV:O1-06-14 JS
ATTY/AGR.2014.003/HBG Redwood Creek Permitting
