• Review and recommend approval of engineering bond estimates and subdivision <br /> guarantees. Assist the staff in preparing subdivision improvement agreements, <br /> other agreements, and staff reports. <br /> • Meet with developers, consultants, or other agencies on behalf of staff, as <br /> requested. <br /> • Draft engineering reports and resolutions for Councii approvals, as needed or <br /> requested by the City. <br /> Street Vacations <br /> • Assist in research and document preparation, such as plats, maps, legal <br /> descriptions and findings, by a licensed surveyor to support summary and regular <br /> street vacations and city property disposition according to City Municipal <br /> Ordinance, Subdivision Map Act and Califomia Streets and Highway Code. <br /> Inspection <br /> � Coordinate all project related information with City staff <br /> • Document proJect progress, report non-compliance and prepare daily site <br /> inspection report <br /> • Oversee special testing and inspection work as required. <br /> • Assist in verifying compliance with city and state labor requirements related to <br /> wages and safety <br /> • Measure and verify quantities of work and review progress payment requests <br /> • Assist in reviewing submittals, RFIs, Change Orders and Claims. <br /> • Prepare as-built record drawings. <br /> • Prepare punch lists and conduct final inspections. <br /> Qualitv Control/Qualitv Assurance <br /> • The Project Manager will meet with other Redwood City staff and outside <br /> agencies, as needed, to review their progress and/or their comments. <br /> • A licensed Civil Engineer will review a sampling of plans to assure quality of <br /> work. <br /> • An Engineering Manager will meet with the City Engineer of Redwood City or his <br /> designated staff, as needed, but at least once per year, to review work quality <br /> and consultant performance. <br /> Staffinq <br /> • All plan reviews will be conducted by a licensed civil engineer in the State of <br /> California or under the supervision of a licensed civil engineer. <br /> • Each plan review is assigned to a design plan reviewer with oversight of the <br /> project manager.
