ORIGINAL <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO EXTEND AND AMEND AGREEMENT FOR <br /> PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> (Neal Martin �Associates) <br /> This Amendment No. 1 is entered into and effective as of the c�day of <br /> , 2014, extending and amending the agreement dated <br /> Februa , 201 (AGR.2014.0061/Neal Martin & Associates/Contract Planner) (the <br /> "Agreement") b and between the City of Redwood City, a charter city and municipal <br /> corporation o the State of California ("City"), and Neal Martin & Associates, <br /> ("Consultant' (collectively, the "Parties") for services of two temporary contract <br /> Assistant Planners to provide part-time temporary staff needs. <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. On February 4, 2014, the Parties executed an Agreement for Professional <br /> Services; and <br /> B. The Parties wish to extend the provisioning of planner services as <br /> described in Exhibit "A" to the Agreement <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants <br /> contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. That the Agreement, as may have been amended from time to time, is <br /> hereby extended by this Amendment for a period of six months ending on December 31, <br /> 2014. <br /> 2. City will pay Consultant for all work associated with those services <br /> described in Exhibit "A" of the Agreement on a time and materials basis not-to-exceed <br /> Nineteen Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety Five Dollars ($19,995.00), for an aggregate <br /> amount of ($59,995.00) for the Agreement and Amendment combined. Consultant will <br /> provide City, on a monthly basis, copies of invoices sufficiently detailed to include hours <br /> performed, hourly rates, and related activities and costs for approval by City. <br /> 3. Consultant services may be provided by one or more Assistant Planners, <br /> subject to the approval of the Community Development Director. <br /> 4. All other provisions of the Agreement, as may have been amended from <br /> time to time, will remain in full force and effect. <br /> 5.
