Communicate effectively, both orally and <br /> in writing. <br /> • Demonstrate initiative and exercise good judgment in the perFormance of duties. <br /> • Work independently and as a team member; recognize and set priorities and meet <br /> milestones. <br /> • Meet appropriate physical demands necessary for adequate job perFormance. <br /> Experience and Training Guidelines <br /> Any combination equivalent to experience and education that could likely provide the <br /> required knowledge and abilities would be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the <br /> knowledge and abilities would be: <br /> Experience: Four years of increasingly responsible experience in planning, community <br /> development, redevelopment, affordable housing or a related field performing duties <br /> involving program development, administration, project and program evaluation and <br /> monitoring, capital improvement and revitalization including a minimum of two years of <br /> supervisory or project management experience. <br /> Education: Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university <br /> with major coursework in urban or regional planning, architecture or a related field.
