Communicate effectively, both orally and <br />in writing. <br />• Demonstrate initiative and exercise good judgment in the performance of duties. <br />• Work independently and as a team member; recognize and set priorities and meet <br />milestones. <br />• Meet appropriate physical demands necessary for adequate job performance. <br />Experience and Training Guidelines <br />Any combination equivalent to experience and education that could likely provide the <br />required knowledge and abilities would be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the <br />knowledge and abilities would be: <br />Experience: Four years of increasingly responsible experience in planning, community <br />development, redevelopment, affordable housing or a related field performing duties <br />involving program development, administration, project and program evaluation and <br />monitoring, capital improvement and revitalization including a minimum of two years of <br />supervisory or project management experience. <br />Education: Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university <br />with major coursework in urban or regional planning, architecture or a related field.
