ATTACHMENT 3 <br /> 49. Any further modifications and/or corrections to the Vesting Tentative Maps <br /> are subject to the review and approval of the City Engineer. <br /> Fire Department <br /> 50. Fire Department access roads shall be required when any portion of the <br /> facility or any portion of an exterior wall of the first story of the building is <br /> located more than 150 feet from fire apparatus access, unless an <br /> alternative method or means of protection has been approved by the Fire <br /> Marshal. <br /> 51. Emergency Vehicle access shall comply with CFC and the Redwood City <br /> Fire Department Standards. Design shall meet city standards for weight <br /> loading with a clear width of 26' as per the CFC. Reduction in width may <br /> be granted upon final site plan development as reviewed and approved by <br /> the Fire Marshal. <br /> 52. Underground fire service mains shall be a minimum size of 8" as per <br /> Redwood City Standards. Minimum fire-flow shall be 4000 GPM with a <br /> four-hour duration in flow. Fire hydrant spacing shall not exceed 350' <br /> apart. Cathodic protection is required. <br /> 53. Boat docks shall be provided with a wharf style dry-standpipe system. <br /> Piping size shall be no less than 4" and discharges shall be gated 2-1/2" <br /> NH. Spacing between standpipes shall not exceed 200'. <br /> 54. The outside turning radius of a fire apparatus access road shall be a <br /> minimum of 61 feet with a maximum inside turning radius of 28 feet. Both <br /> radii shall share the same center point. (IFC 503.2.4) <br /> 55. Fire apparatus access roads shall have an unobstructed vertical clearance <br /> of not less than 13 feet 6 inches. (IFC 503.2.1) <br /> 56. Fire apparatus access roads shall be designed and maintained to support <br /> the imposed loads of fire apparatus [American Association of State <br /> Highway and Transportation Officials H-20 Standard] and shall be <br /> provided with a surface so as to provide all-weather driving capabilities. <br /> (IFC 503.2.3) <br /> 57. All designated fire lanes shall be marked in accordance with Section <br /> 22500.1 of the California Vehicle Code. <br /> 58.
