1. Scope of Services ("Services"). <br /> YLI will work in collaboration with the AOD Abuse Prevention Partnership to build <br /> program capacity for youth to serve and mentor, and to increase the number of youth <br /> involved in positive activities and supportive youth/adult relationships. <br /> Specific tasks to be completed by YLI shall include: <br /> Promote Anti-Stigma awareness, using the video vignette to convene (facilitated by <br /> youth groups) Yo! San Mateo Friday Night Live (FNL) County Wide Youth Coalition <br /> events: <br /> o YLI shall coordinate Youth led Community forums within the region with <br /> expected collaboration with prevention partnership; and <br /> o YLI shall conduct outreach efforts towards Youth of Diversity-drawing <br /> from the needs assessment, focusing on self-medicating with the use of <br /> AOD; and <br /> o Conduct evaluations for those youth identified above. <br /> YLI shall: <br /> o PerForm outreach to youth that have been impacted by stigma issues or <br /> know someone that has been impacted by stigma issues; and <br /> o Identify the venue and coordinate the dates for outreach sessions and <br /> widely circulate those dates well prior to events. <br /> YLI and San Mateo FNL will recruit and maintain 4 to 6 chapters to attend FNL <br /> RWC/NFO regional training sessions/series, with training to cover: <br /> o FNL orientation to adult advisors; and <br /> o Monthly consultations with/to adult advisors. <br /> Friday Night Live Regional Training Series-Trainings will be designed to create and <br /> provide success for youth led projects of RWC/NFO, youth groups, and initiatives <br /> in collaboration with adult allies from the Prevention Partnership to move the work <br /> forward. Collaborative projects will include: <br /> o Environmental Strategies 101 — understanding the differences between <br /> focusing on individual behavior and community prevention efforts. <br /> YLI shall continue to participate and attend the AOD Prevention Partnership <br /> Steering Committee monthly meetings. <br /> 2. Standard of Performance. While performing the Services, Consultant will <br /> exercise the reasonable professional care and skill customarily exercised by reputable <br /> members of Consultant's profession practicing in the urban Northern California Area, <br /> and will use reasonable diligence and best judgment while exercising its professional <br /> skill and expertise. <br /> 3. Term.
