Public Hearing to Accept and Respond to Comments on Redwood <br /> City's Report on Water Quality Relative to Public Health Goals <br /> Recommendation: <br /> Accept and respond to public comments from the public on the Report and <br /> refer any comments to the Public Works Services Department for <br /> consideration and to address as appropriate. <br /> Mr. Chapel, Public Works Superintendent, gave a presentation on the comments <br /> regarding Redwood City's report on water quality relative to Public Health Goals <br /> (presentation on file). He defined Public Health Goals and stated that Redwood City's <br /> water is safe to drink. He shared how the city monitors and reduces harmful levels of <br /> lead and copper and the technology used to optimize corrosion control. <br /> There being no Council questions or discussion, Mayor Aguirre stated that it is nice to <br /> know that our water is drinkable. Mayor Aguirre opened the Public Hearing. There was <br /> no public comment. <br /> M/S Gee/Seybert to close the public hearing and accept the recommendation. <br /> Motion carried unanimously by voice vote with Council Member Bain absent. <br /> 9.
