"Section 30 . 3 . Definitions . Whenever any words or <br /> phrases are used in this chapter and are not defined <br /> herein but are defined in the Subdivision Map Act , as last <br /> amended , such definitions are defined therein , incorporated <br /> herein and shall be deemed to apply as though set forth in <br /> this chapter. <br /> "Section 30 . 4 . Other Definitions . The following words <br /> and phrases shall have the meaning respectively ascribed to <br /> them: <br /> "Advisory Agency : (a) Lot Combinations , Mergers , <br /> Parcel Lot Line Adjustments , Transfers . The Planning <br /> Director shall constitute the 'Advisory Agency ' for lot <br /> combinations, mergers , lot line adjustments , and parcel <br /> • transfers. <br /> " (b) Tentative Parcel Maps. The Subdivision Committee <br /> shall constitute the 'Advisory Agency' for tentative parcel <br /> maps . <br /> " (c) Tentative Maps . The Planning Commission shall <br /> constitute the 'Advisory Agency ' for tentative maps . <br /> "Approved Access : Direct access to a parcel or lot <br /> from a dedicated and improved street or highway, or from a <br /> dedicated and improved street or highway by means of a private <br /> vehicular access complying with the requirements of the <br /> Redwood City Zoning Ordinance and the provisions of the Redwood <br /> City Subdivision Design Standards , as may be applicable, for <br /> access . <br /> "Block: Land surrounded by streets , or which is designated <br /> as a block on a subdivision map. <br /> 2. <br />
