'Subdivision' includes a condominium <br /> project, as defined in Section 1350 of the Civil Code. Any <br /> conveyance of land to a governmental agency , public entity <br /> or public utility, shall not be considered a division of <br /> for purposes of computing the number of parcels. <br /> land/-f any pu-r-pose,- As used in this section, 'agricultural <br /> purposes' means cultivation of food or fiber or the grazing <br /> or pasturing of livestock. <br /> "Subdivision Committee: The Subdivision Committee shall <br /> consist of the Planning Director, the Director of Public Works , <br /> and a member of the Planning Commission who shall be appointed <br /> by the Chairman of the Planning Commission. Each staff member <br /> shall designate an official alternate. The alternate designee <br /> for the Director of Public Works shall be a licensed civil <br /> engineer or surveyor. The Planning Director shall serve as <br /> secretary of the Committee. <br /> "Tentative Map: A map describing existing conditions <br /> of the land to be subdivided and the design of the proposed <br /> division of land and related improvements. Such map need not <br /> be based upon an accurate or detailed final survey of the <br /> property. <br /> "Tentative Parcel Map: A map describing existing <br /> conditions of the land to be subdivided and the design of <br /> the proposed division of land and related improvements for <br /> a parcel or parcels of land into four or fewer lots or parcels . <br /> Such map need not be based upon an accurate or detailed final <br /> survey of the property. <br /> 5 <br /> 4 <br />
