Section 30.2 .2 of Ordinance No. 1130, the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, adopted May 11, 1964, as amended, is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 30.2.2 Required Parking - Residential Uses. In all districts in connection with every use of property and for each building site, there shall be provided offstreet parking spaces for automobiles according to the following schedule: " (a) (1) Dwellings, single family: 2 spaces. (2) Dwellings, duplex: 4 spaces. (3) Dwellings, multiple: (i) 2 parking spaces for each dwelling unit to and including a total of 36 - units. (ii) 1-3/4 parking spaces for each dwelling unit in excess of 36 units and to and including a total of 72 units. (iii) 1-1/2 parking spaces for each dwelling unit in excess of 72 units . " (b) Rooming and b oarding houses: 1 space for each two bedrooms, but not less than 3 spaces. " (c) A minimum of two-thirds of the total amount of parking spaces required pursuant to subsections (a) or (b) hereof for a single building site shall be located within a garage or car port area, and one-third or less of the total required spaces may be uncovered. " (d) For all multiple dwelling developments containing 4 or more dwelling units on a single site, at least ten per cent of all required offstreet parking spaces shall be clearly marked, designated, and maintained at all times as ' reserved for guests' parking, or similarly so marked, designated, and maintained."
