�., <br /> . �.. `, <br /> • �, DES:yc: ll/22/71 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> �EC is •T/ <br /> O R D I N A N C E N O. �,,,� ,�, ,�.,,,�� <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 30.2 .2 AND 30.14 OF <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1130, THE REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, <br /> RELATING TO OFFSTREET PARKING REQUIREMENTS IN <br /> RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS AND FRACTIONAL MEASUREMENTS <br /> 4F REQUIRED OFFSTREET PARKING SPACES, RESPECTIVELY <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. Section 30.2 .2 of Ordinance No. 1130, the Redwood <br /> City Zoning Ordinance, adopted May 11, 1964, as amended, is hereby <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 30.2.2 Required Parking - Residential Uses. <br /> In all districts in connection with every use of property <br /> and for each building site, there shall be provided offstreet <br /> parking spaces for automobiles according to the following <br /> schedule: <br /> " (a) (1) Dwellings, single family: 2 spaces. <br /> (2) Dwellings, duplex: 4 spaces. <br /> (3) Dwellings, multiple: <br /> (i) 2 parking spaces for each dwelling <br /> unit to and including a total of 36 <br /> - units. <br /> (ii) 1-3/4 parking spaces for each dwelling <br /> unit in excess of 36 units and to and <br /> including a total of 72 units. <br /> (iii) 1-1/2 parking spaces for each dwelling <br /> unit in excess of 72 units . <br /> " (b) Rooming and b oarding houses: 1 space for each <br /> two bedrooms, but not less than 3 spaces. <br /> " (c) A minimum of two-thirds of the total amount of <br /> parking spaces required pursuant to subsections (a) <br /> or (b) hereof for a single building site shall be <br /> located within a garage or car port area, and <br /> one-third or less of the total required spaces <br /> may be uncovered. <br /> " (d) For all multiple dwelling developments containing <br /> 4 or more dwelling units on a single site, at <br /> least ten per cent of all required offstreet <br /> parking spaces shall be clearly marked, designated, <br /> and maintained at all times as ' reserved for guests' <br /> parking, or similarly so marked, designated, and <br /> maintained." <br />
