<br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO ACCEPT GRANTS OR
<br /> DEEDS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AND
<br /> RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 7030 \ -�_.
<br /> WHEREAS, Section 27281 of the Government Code of the State of
<br /> California requires that deeds or grants conveying an interest in real
<br /> property to political corporations must be accepted by the grantees prior
<br /> to bein.g recorded; and
<br /> WHEREAS , said Section 27281 provides a method whereby an officer or
<br /> agent may be designated by the political corporation to accept such deeds
<br /> on its behalf;
<br /> ,
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE; ,
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD, CITY, AS FOLLOWS:
<br /> l. That Jacqueline C. Hildebrand, City Clerk of the City of Redwood
<br /> City, be and she hereby is authorized to accept, on behalf of the City of
<br /> Redwood City, all deeds or grants conveying an interest in or easement
<br /> upon real estate to the City of Redwood City. -
<br /> 2. That Resolution No. 7030 , adopted October 15, 1973, by the
<br /> Council of the City of Redwood City, is hereby rescinded. .
<br /> Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a
<br /> regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of January, 1974 , by the
<br /> following vote:
<br /> AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing
<br /> resolution: Councilmen Henderson, Leipzig, Norris , Rhodes , Weymouth,
<br /> Williams and Mayor Keckley
