<br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO ACCEPT GRANTS OR
<br /> DEEDS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AND
<br /> RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 7030 �

<br /> WHEREAS, Section 27281 of the Gavernment Code of the State of
<br /> California requires that deeds or grants conveying an interest in real
<br /> property to political corporations must be accepted by the grantees prior :
<br /> to being recorded; and
<br /> WHEREAS, said Section 27281 provides a method whereby an officer or
<br /> agent may be designated by the political corporation to accept such deeds
<br /> on its behalf;
<br /> � NOW, THEREFORE; .
<br /> � BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS:`
<br /> ! 1. That Jacqueline C. Hildebrand, City Clerk of the City of Redwood
<br /> � City, be and she hereby is authorized to accept, on behalf of the City of
<br /> i Redwood City, all deeds or grants conveying an interest in or easement
<br /> upon real estate to the City of Redwood C.ity.
