In response to Council Member Buehan's comments, City Manager Everett agreed to provide Council with a list of current projects and their current priority status. Mayor Howard and Couneil Member Hartnett asked that the parking meter study come back to Council the first part of February, and in the mean time, the bags remain covering the parking meters until the report has been studied and Council wishes to make a determination. MEMO 12/2/97 ITERATION OF THE MOTION: MIS: LEIPZIGIRUSKIN INSTALL THE SLEEVES IF WE HAVE TO (UNLESS STAFF CAN WORK SOMETHING OUT WITH THE DEVELOPER) AND HAVE A PARKING METER STUDY DONE BY MID-JANUARY Viee Mayor Ruskin asked if the maker of the motion "would accept an amendment to delay the results of the survey until the end of January and keep the bags on the parking meters as they are now," and Councilman Leipzig said 'yes.' As the seconder, Vice Mayor Ruskin voiced his acceptance. In response to Couneil Member Leipzig's question, City Manager Everett said Council needed to decide if it wanted to put the sleeves in now or not. If the data suggested parking meters were desirable, the City could at that point install parking meters. REITERATION OF THE MOTION AS AMENDED: Council Member Leipzig was asked to restate his motion.
