9.A. - Page 5 <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept the grant, authorize the City <br /> Manager to execute the Grant Award Agreement, and amend the revenues and <br /> expenditures of the City Fiscal Year 2013 -2014 Capital Outlay Fund budget to <br /> accommodate the grant and project construction fund in order to facilitate the 5th <br /> Avenue Pump Station Improvement Project. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The City Council of the City of Redwood City hereby accepts the Hazard <br /> Mitigation Program grant award of $3,000,000 from the Federal Emergency <br /> Management Agency (FEMA) and the California Governor's Office of Emergency <br /> Services (Cal OES); and authorizes the City Manager to execute the Grant Award <br /> Agreement and related contract documents. <br /> 2. Fiscal Year 2013 -2014 Capital Outlay Fund revenue budget shall be <br /> increased by $3,000,000 and <br /> 3. Fiscal Year 2013 -2014 Capital Outlay Fund expenditure budget shall be <br /> increased by $3,000,000.
