<br /> Mechanical, Plumbing, Energy, Historical Building, Existing Building, and
<br /> Green Building Standards Codes, together with certain amendments,

<br /> M/S Seybert /Bain to waive second reading and adopt an Ordinance Repealing Article II
<br /> of Chapter 12 and adopting a new Article II of Chapter 12 adopting by reference the
<br /> California Fire Code 2013 with local amendments. Motion carries unanimously 7 - by
<br /> electronic vote.
<br /> 9. STAFF REPORT(S)
<br /> A. Inner Harbor Planning Update
<br /> Recommendation:
<br /> Accept staff report on the status of the Inner Harbor Specific Plan
<br /> Mr. Ekern, Community Development Director, spoke about the status of the Inner
<br /> Harbor plan and noted that the Task Force has met five times and will have their next
<br /> meeting tomorrow. The Task Force has been working on understanding what the
<br /> community's interests are for the area. He spoke about the issue of sea level rise with
<br /> respect to this land and how this Task Force, that includes a range of environmental
<br /> and development groups, is working to bring forward a balanced recommendation for
<br /> future consideration.
