Anderson, IAFF Union President; Parks, <br /> Recreation and Community Services Director Griffiths and Superintendent Hover; <br /> DES Architects and Engineers, Thomas Gilman, Principal; and Michael McCaffery, <br /> Project Executive ITom Rudolph & Sletten. <br /> Director Ingram described the project's "Milestones" beginning March 25, 1996 <br /> with the Public Safety Committee recommendation for a fIfe station and maintenance <br /> facility in the Redwood Shores Neighborhood through the proposed January 5, 1998 <br /> fire station grand opening celebration. <br /> Director Ingram explained the bifurcation of the project, the shared construction and <br /> lease discussions with SBSA for the maintenance building, and the emphasis the City <br /> has put on constructing the highest quality projects on both sites, subject to all the <br /> requirements and high standards demanded of private developers.
