REPORT: Senior Civil Engineer Lynch, February 10, 1997 Engineering Manager Patterson presented the staff report and described the amendments needed to complete the projects, including a new roof design dictated by the School District and the Redwood Shores Architectural Committee, a change in the heating system provider, and separation into three bid packages, school, community center and park. He added that services to hire geotechnical engineers and testing for materials used in construction were also needed. In response to Council questions, Manager Patterson said all the drawings had to be redone in order to eliminate any overlap and to allow each of the three construction phases to proceed in an organized and timely manner. Mayor Hartnett asked if any member of the public wished to speak.
