.' _' ��RICIN�� AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE REDWOOD CITY ART CENTER AND THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY (REDWOOD CITY ART CENTER) Amendment o. 1 is entered into and effective as of the �Z day of , 014, by and between the City of Redwood City, a charter city and murnc c�orporation of the State of Califomia ("City"), and the Redwood City Art Center ("Cons itant") (coliectively, the "Parties") for providing community art and open studio events. RECITALS A. The Parties previousiy entered into an agreement dated February 25, 2014 (the "Original Agreement") and which expires after seven months (on or about September 26, 2094); and B. City wishes to extend Consultant's contract to provide additional services as described in "Exhibit A", Scope of Services, and to extend the Term of the agreement through Dec�ember 30, 2014 NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the recitals and the mutual covenants contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: 1. That the Agreement, as may have been amended from time to time, is hereby extended from September 30, 2014 through December 30, 2014, and Consultant will be paid a not to exceed amount of nine thousand six hundred dollars ($9,600.00) for services provided during this period. During this extended Term of the Agreement, the consultant shall provide free open studio events through the end of 2014 to the community, shall provide children's informational/discovery programs with free visits to the Redwood City Art Center, shall promote the arts and visits to the Redwood City Art Cen#er through local media, and Consultant shall complete the additional new services as described in Exhibit A- Scope of Services. 2. All other provisions of the Agreement, as may have been amended from time to time, will remain in full force and effect. 3. All requisite insurance policies to be maintained by the Parties pursuant to the Permi#, as may have been amended from time to time, will include coverage for this Amendment. 4.
