B. Contractor shall remove and dispose daily, at his cost, off-site dirt, debris, waste and rubbish from the <br /> work area and the construction site. <br /> 1.18 CONTRACOTR'S INSURANCE/WORKER'S COMPENSATION <br /> A. See Section 00520, Agreement, paragraph 8 for Insurance and Indemnification requirements. <br /> 1.19 INSURANCE ON WORK AND MATERIALS <br /> A. The Contractor shall secure and maintain such direct damage insurance against such perils as the <br /> Contractor may deem necessary to protect the Work called for in this Contract including Work <br /> completed, material in place or to be used in the performance of this Contract and such other <br /> miscellaneous items as may be necessary to the performance of this Contract. <br /> 1.20 CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE <br /> A. The Contractor shall furnish certificates of insurance to the City for all required insurance coverages. <br /> The certificate for Commercial General Liability insurance shall explicitly indicate that "x," "c," and "u" <br /> coverage and contractual liability coverage are provided, even if both coverages are included in the <br /> Commercial General Liability policy form. A separate, executed additional insured endorsement shall be <br /> included with the certificates of insurance for Commercial General Liability coverage. <br /> B. Certificates shall also provide that not less than thirty(30) days advance written notice shall be given to <br /> the City in the event of cancellation. <br /> C. The Contractor shall provide its insurance brokers/agent(s) with a copy of these requirements and <br /> require that they provide all required certificates of insurance and endorsements to the City as required. <br /> D. Upon request by the City, the Contractor shall also furnish a certified copy of any or all policies of <br /> insurance covering the Work called for in this Contract. <br /> 1.21 BONDS <br /> A. Contractor shall provide the required Faithful Pertormance Bond and Payment Bond for this project. <br /> 1.22 GUARANTEES <br /> A. Unless otherwise specified in these specifications, Contractor shall guarantee for one year (365 days) from <br /> the start of the final completion of the contract to repair or replace any improvements which constitutes <br /> defects resulting from the use of inferior or defective materials, equipment, or workmanship. <br /> « * * <br /> SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br /> MARSHALL STREET GARAGE ELEVATOR <br /> REFURBISHMENT PROJECT 00800-4 <br />
