Annual General Plan Progress Report for Calendar Year 2013 <br /> 2013 <br /> Program Number Program Description Status Date Completed 2013 Update <br /> BUILT ENVIRONMENT ELEMENT <br /> Urban Form and Land Use 1J <br /> Program BE-1 Amend Zoning Ordinance and I/A On May 8,2013,the City adopted the Mixed Use Neighborhood and Mixed Use Live-Work Zoning <br /> Map Districts which allows an additional 573 housing units in these districts. S <br /> Program BE-2 Environmental Review I/O The City requires environmental review of individual development applications. Staff is working to <br /> establish guidelines that describe the process for CEQA streamlining and evaluation of air quality <br /> impacts. <br /> Program BE-3 Floodplain Annual Review I/O Staff has provided information to FEMA as part of their efforts to develop an updated study. <br /> Program BE-4 Neighborhood Maintenance I/O Staff continues to work to improve response times through the City's website and permit tracking <br /> software. With the February 2014 launch of the myRWC mobile app,staff expects efficiencies in <br /> response time. <br /> Program BE-5 Context Sensitivity in Historic I/O The City continues to evaluate new project proposals,with the assistance of the Architectural <br /> Influence High Density Advisory Committee and/or the Historic Resource Advisory Committee for context sensitivity in <br /> Neighborhoods Historic Influence High Density Neighborhoods. <br /> Program BE-6 Variety in Master Planned I/O The City continues to evaluate master planned neighborhood development proposals with careful <br /> Neighborhoods consideration to avoid repetitive design elements. <br /> Program BE-7 Access to Residential I/O The Inner Harbor Specific Plan will address access,and the plan is currently underway and is <br /> Waterfront Neighborhoods targeted for completion in fall 2014. <br /> Program BE-8 Transit Amenities I/O During the development review process,the City looks for opportunities to provide transit- <br /> oriented design features in both public and private development projects. <br /> Program BE-9 Priority Development Areas I/A Land within Priority Development Areas(PDAs)has been rezoned to allow for dense,walkable, <br /> transit-oriented,mixed-use development.
