Major tasks include facilitating a task force and community engagement. <br /> i) <br /> CD <br /> Program BE-19 Port Area Master Plan I/O Staff continues to work with the Port on evaluating the potential for a Ferry Terminal and also to <br /> CO <br /> review new development within the Port,as projects are proposed. No action has been taken to <br /> develop a Master Plan for development. <br /> Program BE-20 Jobs: Housing Balance I/O The City currently tracks new commercial square footage and residential development.The City <br /> has recently rezoned several sections of the City to Mixed Use,allowing for adequate housing <br /> choices in concert with commercial development. <br /> Program BE-21 Gateways I/O New gateways are being designed to replace the ones along El Camino Real at two ends of the city <br /> line,which are scheduled for installation in 2014. <br /> Program BE-22 Land Use/Neighborhood I/O The City is currently undergoing the Inner Harbor Specific Plan process,which will begin to inform <br /> Transitions the design drivers for waterfront land uses.
