Annual General Plan Progress Report for Calendar Year 2013 <br /> 2013 <br /> Program Number Program Description Status Date Completed 2013 Update <br /> Program BE-44 Off-Street Bicycle and I/O New development projects are reviewed to ensure that appropriate bicycle parking is provided. <br /> Electrical Bicycle/Scooter Examples include bike rooms as part of the Crossing/900 project and a bicycle shop in the 601 <br /> Parking and Storage Main project. <br /> Requirements <br /> Program BE-45 Bus Facilities Funding I/O New development projects are reviewed to ensure that appropriate accomodations are made for <br /> transit service when they are located along bus routes and that any new streets that would <br /> warrant transit service are designed to accommodate transit service. <br /> Program BE-46 New Development Shuttle I/O As part of the City's review and approval of the Stanford in Redwood City project,the City <br /> Service negotiated for Stanford to provide the Margarite shuttle from their campus to Downtown. <br /> Program BE-47 Neighborhood Traffic I/O The City continues to respond to requests for traffic calming in residential neighborhoods. <br /> Management Program <br /> Program BE-48 Smaller Street Blocks I/O The City continues to review new development and redevelopment applications for potential <br /> short block scenarios and pedestrian/bicycle corridors. <br /> Program BE-49 US101/Woodside Road I/A PA/ED contract The City awarded a contract to URS to complete the Project Approval/Environmental Document <br /> Redesign awarded October phase of the 101/84 interchange redesign project. <br /> 2013 <br /> Program BE-50 Off-Street Loading I/O As part of the development review process,staff continues to review new development to ensure <br /> Requirements that adequate off-street loading areas are provided. <br /> Program BE-51 Parking Standards Update I/O The Mixed Use Corridor Zoning Ordinance was adopted in June 2011,which included an update to <br /> existing parking standards for some areas along these corridors.
