Annual General Plan Progress Report for Calendar Year 2013 <br /> 2013 <br /> Program Number Program Description Status Date Completed 2013 Update <br /> Program NR-36 Natural Space Community I/A The City provides support services for the costal cleanup day and the opening day creek clean up <br /> Involvement events. <br /> Program NR-37 Hillside Conservation I/O As new development proposal have come in,noteably the Laurel Way Joint Venture project,the <br /> City has discussed the posibility of Hillside Conservation. <br /> Program NR-38 Watershed Multi- I/A Public Works is working together with the City of San Carlos regarding maintaining the storm <br /> Jurisdictional Consultation water flow for Cordilleras Creek.In 2013,Staff secured a five-year"Streambed Alteration <br /> and Pollution Prevention Agreement"form Department of Fish and Wildlife. <br /> Program NR-39 State and Federal TBI <br /> Consultation <br /> Program NR-40 BCDC and Interested I/A The City has begun,via the Inner Harbor Study,a public process for the consideration of public <br /> Stakeholders Consultation recreation and access opportunities with restoring and preserving bayfront lands. <br /> Urban Forest <br /> Program NR-41 Tree Protection and I/O The City recently shifted responsibility and regulation for Tree Protection and Preservation to the <br /> Preservation Enforcement City's Landscape Architect.This has resulted in a more streamlined approach to the Tree Permit <br /> process. <br /> Program NR-42 Tree Preservation Ordinance I/O The City's Landscape Architect has finalized a draft copy of Chapter 35,Tree Preservation <br /> Ordinance,and is awaiting final review from the City Attorney's Office before presenting it to City <br /> Council. <br /> Program NR-43 Tree Master Plan I/O Staff has begun to formulate the outline for this process. <br /> Program NR-44 Trees in Public Rights-of-Way I/O Due to the City's budget reductions,staff recently initiated a policy shift in the treatment of trees <br /> in the public right-of-way such that the care and maintenance programs once performed by the <br /> City are reverted back to the adjacent property owner.
