City staff reaches out to neighborhood associations with project workshops& <br /> Implement ongoing housing outreach plan to provide information on <br /> H-25:Outreach Plan affordable housing.Outreach to community regarding specific new Immediate presentations&encourages developers to seek input from local stakeholders.The City's <br /> developments. HHCC's goal is to initiate a comprehensive outreach program in 2012. <br /> The City provided$450,000 in federal Home Investment Partnership Act(HOME)funds to <br /> a non profit(Kainos)to acquire an existing single family home to provide permanent <br /> supportive housing for four adults with developmental disabilities.The City also provided <br /> H-26:Acquisition and Rehabilitation of Existing Contact housing providers regarding partnerships in acquisition of $400,000 in federal Community Development Block Grant(CDBG)funds to a non profit <br /> Housing substandard rental properties. Ongoing <br /> (Mental Health Association)to acquire a site to develop approximately 15 units of <br /> permanent supportive housing.Both activities will serve extremely low income persons. <br /> The City is actively involved in regional and local jurisdiction coordination,especially as <br /> Consult with C/CAG,San Mateo County Environmental Health.and pertaining to implementation of SB375 and Sustainable Community Strategy. The City <br /> H-27:Consult with Public Agencies the RWQCB.Support regional efforts to address Article 34.
