7.1.A. - Page 1 <br /> REPORT <br /> To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br /> From the City Manager <br /> April 7, 2014 <br /> SUBJECT <br /> Amendment to Agreement with the County of San Mateo for Information and Referral <br /> Services provided at the Fair Oaks Community Center <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve and authorize the City Manager to sign Amendment to Agreement between the <br /> San Mateo County Human Services Agency and the City of Redwood City for City to <br /> provide Information and Referral Services to County at the Fair Oaks Community <br /> Center for FY 13-14, 14-15, 15-16. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> Council approved the original agreement between the San Mateo County Human <br /> Services Agency and the City of Redwood City for the County to pay City to provide <br /> Information and Referral Services at the Fair Oaks Community Center for FY 13-14-14- <br /> 15, and 15-16 at its' regular Council meeting on April 22, 2013. <br /> ANALYSIS <br /> The parties would like to amend the original agreement to add a Cost of Living <br /> Adjustment (COLA) to the payment made to City, effective January 1, 2014. The COLA <br /> increase for City services would be as follows for each fiscal year covered by the <br /> agreement: <br /> For FY 13-14, $1 ,071 up to the maximum annual Contract amount of $72,440 <br /> For FY 14-15, $2,141 up to the maximum annual Contract amount of $73,510 <br /> For FY 15-16, $2,141 up to the maximum annual Contract amount of $73,510 <br /> All other terms of the contract remain the same as in the original agreement. <br /> ALTERNATIVES <br /> Council could choose not to approve the amendment, and not accept the proposed Cost <br /> of Living Adjustment (COLA) to the City from the San Mateo County Human Services <br /> Agency for the Fair Oaks Community Center Information and Referral program. <br />
