<br /> CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULT OF GENERAL MUNICIPAL EI,ECTION AND
<br /> � CONSOLIDATED SPECIAL MUNICIPAL BOND ELECTION, HELD ON APRIL 13, 195�}.•
<br /> WHEREA3, the Council of the City of Redwood City, by Resolution No. 1650,
<br /> duly pa�sed and adopted on the lst day of Marc.h, 1951}, designated the precincts and
<br /> polling places and appointed �he members of the precinc� boards for the general
<br /> election to be held in said City of Redwood City on April 13, 1954s a$ required by �
<br /> law, for the ob�ect and purpose of electing the following municipal officers of '
<br /> said City of Redwood City: . .�+

<br /> 11YHEREAS pursuant to Ordinance No. 762, adopted by said Gouncil on the lst
<br /> day of March, 195�., a _special municipal bond election was called for the purpose of
<br /> submitting to the qualified electors of said City the bond measures and each of them
<br /> hereinafter specified, which said special municipal bond election was by said Ordi- '"""�
<br /> nance No. 762 consolidated wi�h t he �eneral municipal electio n hereinabove referred

<br /> WHEREAS, said Counc3l, by resolution duly passed and adopted on March 1,
<br /> 195�., ordered subm3.tted to the voters of said �it� of Redwood City at said general
<br /> municipal election to be held on April 13s 1954, the measures he reinafter specified
<br /> as Charter Amendments Nos. 1 to 20, inclusive; and
<br /> 1�iHEREAS, said general municipal election and consolidated apecial municipal
<br /> bond election was held on Tuesday, April 13, 1954 in accordance with law, and the
<br /> votes thereat received afld canvassed, and the returns thereof ascertained, determined
<br /> and declared in all respects as required by law;
<br /> NOtW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED b� the Council of' the City of Redwood City,
<br /> as follows:
<br /> l. That the City Clerk of the City of Redwood City be, and is �ereby,
<br /> instructed to enter this resolution on the minutes of this Council as a statement
<br /> of the result of said election.
<br /> 2. That the whole number of votes cast in said City at said consolidated
<br /> special municipal bond election was 6��6 votes. That 58 ballota were apoiled and
<br /> not counted.

<br /> 3. That at said election the following measures and each of them for
<br /> incurring bonded �ndebtedness were submitted to t he electorg of said City. and that
<br /> the n�zrnber of votea given in said City for and agains t each of said measures was �"�`
