City Council Member Report of Conferences Attended <br /> Mayor Gee stated that at the request of the Mayor he traveled to China and represented <br /> Redwood City at the 2013 International Friendship Summit as part of a delegation from <br /> the Bay Area, that included the Mayors of San Francisco, Sunnyvale, and Sacramento <br /> (presentation on file). He got to plant a tree on our behalf and Whuhan, known as the <br /> Chicago of China was a wonderful place to visit with 9 million in population and 12 <br /> active sites and over 500 active power cranes in construction sites. <br /> B.
