Member Christensen said that other agencies in the county have also included the legal counsel fees on their ROPS <br /> and not on the administrative budget. Chair Roberts asked if some items had been prorated and Mr. Ponty <br /> coriflrmed that they were prorated. <br /> MIS Navas/Aguirre to approve the resolution. Motion carried unanimously with members Holland and <br /> Abbot's absent. <br /> 7. Approval of ROPS 13-14A(period July—December 2013) Brian Panty <br /> Resolution OB- 13-03 <br /> Mr. Ponty explained the"asks"from staff and said that the largest single piece is the AB 1290 payments and how <br /> staff is asking for the money to reimburse the other agencies.The calculations were performed by Don Fraser. <br /> One Member inquired about certain bond funds in the amount of$108,000.00. Another member inquired about <br /> certain line items, and how two matters are under litigation namely the loan between the City and the former RDA <br /> and the second being the$10 million of housing funds the Successor Agency believes are enforceable obligations <br /> under the 1990 agreement with the Legal Aid Society. Mr. Panty provided details on the matters. The number of <br /> lawsuits filed against the DOF determinations was discussed. <br /> M/S Lyon/Christensen to adopt the resolution. Motion carried unanimously with members Holland and <br /> Abbors absent. <br /> 8. Set Date and Agenda for Next Board Meetings Chair <br /> Mr. Panty noted that the deadline is October 1 for submitting the 13-14B ROPS to the DOF. <br /> The date set for the next Oversight Board Meeting is September 19, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. <br /> Legal Counsel Labadie reminded everyone that forms 700 Statement of Economic Interests are due by the end of <br /> March to the City Clerk. <br /> The Vice Chair asked about the various Oversight Boards ending around July of 2016 since that is the end of five <br /> year period. He inquired if the expectation is that there will be two meetings per year and legal counsel Labadie <br /> confirmed that expectation. <br /> 9.
