EXHIBIT "A" SCOPE OF SERVICES PROJECT DESCRIPTION Stulsaft Park is a 42 acre regional natural park in Redwood City. The up slope side along an existing access road, which serves park maintenance vehicles, fire trucks and hikers, has experienced erosion. This project will add a new retaining wall to mitigate the erosion and stabilize the steep slope. TASK 1 — PROJECT MANAGEMENT 1.1 Consultant will monitor the project budget and schedule, maintain close communication with the City project manager, and manage and supervise in-house staff. Consultant will provide monthly invoices with status reports to indicate current progress, next steps, and any upcoming potential issues of concem. 1.2 Consultant will follow a quality control process in conformance with our in-house Quality Control Manual and guided by our QA/QC manager. This will include keeping the project on schedule and budget, periodically checking on satisfaction with the project development process with the City, assuring the project is proceeding in accordance with the City's goals and priorities, and undertaking careful quality control reviews of the design and cost estimates at each major progress milestone. 1.3 Attend three meetings with the City staff for the design phase including project kick-off, 75% design review and 100% design review meetings. Separate meetings for bid and construction support are included under Task 5. Consultant will be responsible for preparation and distribution of ineeting agendas, conducting the meetings, and preparing meeting minutes. Deliverab/es: • Project schedule and up to two updates • Monthly invoice and progress reports • Quality control reviews • Agenda and minutes for up to three project meetings TASK 2—SURVEYING AND UTILITITIES RESEARCH 2.1 Consultant will coordinate with the City, PG&E, Comcast, AT&T, and other utility companies with potential facilities in the area to obtain utility mapping for the project limits and input this information into the base mapping.
