Paynter 1045 Airport Boulevard, Suite 12 South San Francisco, CA 94080 Zoning Administrator City of Redwood City 1020 Middlefield Road Redwood City, CA 94063 RE: Findings and Conclusions on Use Permit Revocation Proceedings Concerning Woodside Gas Mart, 895 Woodside Road, Redwood City, California Public hearing having been duly noticed and held on November 4, 1996, '- on revocation proceedings pertaining to a use permit for the operation of a vehicle service station at 895 Woodside Road, Redwood City, California (the "Property") owned by Sabek, Inc. (the "Owner"), oral testimony having been heard, documentary material having been received, and the opportunity to be heard having been given to all persons present, the Council of the City of Redwood City hereby finds, concludes, and determines as follows: FINDINGS 1. The Property is located in the "CG-R" (General Commercial- Combining) Zoning District established under the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Redwood City (Ordinance No. 1130, as Amended; the "Zon. Ord."), 2. Service stations are conditional uses permitted in the CG Zoning District, only upon issuance of a use permit (Zon. Ord. §15.4b.). Under the "R" (Residential) Combining District designation, residential uses may be permitted within a CG Zoning District (Zon. Ord. § 25.7). 3. On or about June 24, 1969, a use permit was issued by the Planning Department (following the then-required approval of the Planning Commission) to permit the "modernization" of an existing automobile service station and to , provide for the relocation of a pump island on the Property.
