7.1.A. - Page 16 <br /> • City Services Required <br /> Allow the PCA exclusive use of the Marshall Street parking garage for Festival <br /> vendors from July 4 from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM July 4, and to suspend the payment <br /> of parking fees during this time. Open the gates at the Marshall Street parking <br /> structure after 6 AM on July 4 and leave open until normal operations on July 5. <br /> Provide the PCA with a contact name and phone number if problems occur with the <br /> parking gates. <br /> Street sweeping of the Festival area at approximately 7:00 PM after the Festival has <br /> closed on July 4. It is requested that street sweeping in the Festival area not begin <br /> until 7:00 PM to allow vendors to complete their breakdown and leave the area. <br /> Provide traffic cones and street barricades for Festival areas, and other traffic <br /> diversion requirements as determined by the Police Department. The PCA will work <br /> with the Police Department and Public Works to provide a list of times, locations, and <br /> quantity of barricades needed for the Festival area. <br /> Request through the County OES the use of the steel pedestrian barriers for traffic <br /> control and participant safety. The PCA will provide a list of times, locations, and <br /> quantity of barriers needed for the Festival area. <br /> Provide the use of a fire hydrant for antique fire truck demonstration in the <br /> Festival area following the Parade on July 4 from approximately 12:00 noon until <br /> 5:00pm. <br /> Provide letter to State Alcohol Beverage Control to allow PCA to obtain a permit for <br /> the sale of beer and wine. <br /> Notify all businesses that sell alcoholic beverages in the downtown area of their <br /> responsibility to comply with the conditions of their ABC permits. <br /> Provide needed electrical distribution connections in the Courthouse Square area to <br /> support PCA festival food vendor operations. <br /> Provide electrical connections from street lighting outlets to support Children's <br /> entertainment stage and vendor booths, in selected areas of Theatre Way, Middlefield, <br /> and Broadway). <br /> We appreciate the cooperation and goodwill extended by the City of Redwood City to the <br /> Peninsula Celebration Association. The mutual coordination of this annual event benefits the <br /> entire Redwood City Community.
