COPY <br /> The Port of Redwood City-Tariff No. 8 4� Revised Page 15 <br /> 675 Seaport Boulevard Cancels <br /> Redwood City,California 94063 3� Revised Page 15 <br /> Phone: 650 306-4150 Fax: 650)369-7636 Conection No.160 <br /> www.redwoodci ort.com Issued:June 1,2014 Effective: ul 1,2014 <br /> SECTION II-VESSEL BERTHING AND DOCKAGE <br /> PORT REQUIREMENTS FOR VESSEL BERTHING Item No. <br /> 200 (A) <br /> (r�) Applicauon for a berth must be made to and appxoved by the Port befoxe docking a vessel at a <br /> marine texminal ot facility at the Port of Redwood City. <br /> (1) Applicauon for a berth(Port form provided) should be made as far in advance as <br /> possible,but not less than 72 hours before the vessel's arrival.In an emergenry,if the berth is <br /> available,the Port Manager may waive this time requixement. <br /> (B) The Port schedules bertlung considering the availability of the terminals and facilities. <br /> (1) A vessel failing to arrive at a scheduled time may lose her turn on berth,and a new <br /> applicarion for berthing will be xequired.Vessel agents are required to prompdy advise the <br /> Port of any change in a vessel's estimated time of arrival(E.T.A). <br /> (C) The Port of Redwood City teserves the right for the Port Manager to require a vessel at a berth to <br /> work at her expense a minimum of two 8 hour shifts per day on all hatches possible. <br /> (D) The Port of Redwood City reserves the right,exercisable by written oxder of the Port Manager,to <br /> require a vessel to shift her position or vacate a berth with all expenses incurred and all risks of <br /> damage for the account of the vessel. <br /> (1) Failure to comply with the order given in part(D)will subject the vessel to a dockage <br /> charge of$�$�88$214.00 per hour in addition to dockage charges specified in this <br /> section. <br /> (2) This added dockage charge will commence at the time specified in the written orders <br /> given to the master or other officer of the vessel and will continue until the orders are <br /> complied with bp moving the vessel as required. <br /> (3) If the vessel is not self-propelled and the owner,operator or charterer fails to comply <br /> with the Port's order,the Port Manager may have the vessel shifted or removed from the <br /> berth by tugboat with all expenses incurred and all risks of damage far the account of the <br /> vessel. (Subject to Item 114 herein). <br /> (E) Vessels not engaged in loading or dischaxging cargo will be berthed only with the clear <br /> understanding that: <br /> (1) The vessel will shift position ox leave the berth when requested to do so by the Pnrt. <br /> (2) The vessel refusing to move as xequested may be shifted by tugboat ar otherwise by the <br /> Port and all expenses for the move and any damage to the vessel,wharf or other property <br /> will be for the account of the vessel so moved.
